Autumn & Winter Smoothies

Pumpkin season has already started! Autumn arrived. The nature will turn into a colorful world and I can enjoy walks on the autumn colored paths, smell of maroons in the streets and use all my favorite spices without hiding my addictions any longer (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom). Autumn is always kind of special to me because I was born on the day BEFORE autumn starts. I was always able to enjoy the last day of summer and the 1st day of autumn when I´m celebrating my birthday from one day to the next. It´s literally a new chapter starting.

What I actually wanted to talk about was SMOOTHIES! In summer I shared a few SUMMER SMOOTHIES with you and now I want to do the same for autumn and winter : AUTUMN & WINTER SMOOTHIE ideas! It´s always time for having a glass of smoothie no matter what season is outside. These special creations are actually perfect for the colder seasons, warm you up from the inside and treat you with typical, seasonal flavors. Let´s start :

Anti-Inflammatory Gingerbread Smoothie (inspired by @naturally.sassy)

  • 1 frozen banana // 1 gefrorene Banane
  • 1/4 cup glutenfree oats
  • 1 knob of fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom (Optional)
  • 1/2 tsp ground clove (Optional)
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbs raw almond butter (Optional)
  • 1 tsp vegan protein powder (Optional)

Chai Smoothie (inspired by veganblatt.com)

  • 2 bananas, preferably frozen
  • 1/4l dairy free milk, preferably oat or almond milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom
  • 1/3 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1/2 tsp hemp protein (Optional)
  • 1/2 tsp carob powder (Optional)

Creamy Pumpkin Pie Smoothie (inspired by @naturallymeghan)

  • 1 fresh banana
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1-2 tbs pumpkin puree
  • 1 – 1 1/2 tbs pumpkin pie spice mix (cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, clove and a touch of cayenne)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla / vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp maca powder (Optional)
  • 1 cup dairy free milk of choice
  • Water, if necessary

Golden Smoothie (inspired by veganblatt.com)

  • 1 cup dairy free milk of choice (almond, coconut or oat milk)
  • 1 nana
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp ginger (fresh)
  • A bit coconut oil
  • Cinnamon, vanilla, … (Optional)

Pear-Cinnamon-Cardamom Green Smoothie – Smoothie for the Winter Months (inspired by @80twenty)

  • 2 generous handfuls of baby spinach
  • 1 ripe pear, chopped into large chunks
  • 1 cup dairy free milk of choice (almond milk)
  • 1/2 cup plain soy yogurt
  • A pinch of ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 ice cubes (Optional)
  • A pinch of vanilla

  • 2 ice cubes (Optional)
  • 1-2 tbs pure maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup oats, preferably glutenfree
  • 1 tbs chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice mix (cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, clove and a touch of cayenne)

Rooibos-Orange-Almond Smoothie (feat. Provamel)

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 frozen nana
  • 4 – 5 ice cubes (Optional)
  • 200g Provamel Orange Rooibos Soy Yogurt
  • 1 orange or 2 tangerines, pealed
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
