All about … Summer Smoothies

 

Summer! & Heatwave! 😛 for me it´s far too hot – I´m more the Spring Girl ❤ 😉 I thought about taking the chance and show you some refreshing smoothies that keep you happy on the hottest of days 😀 Well, Are you ready for “All about” about fruity SUMMER SMOOTHIES?

Summer is really the perfect time for a fruity, refreshing smoothie 🙂 the hotter the weather the cooler the smoothie (in my view 😉 during other periods I use less frozen fruits but during heatwave I can´t get enough of frozen stuff! I need it to survive) 😀 I already posted some of the smoothies below so you can call this entry a collection – I collect all the smoothie creation that I think are the most amazing ones for summer 😀 I still have some ideas and recipes in my mind that may try out – therefore I will also update this post every now and then to keep you all informed about the new ones 😀

Well, here is the collection for the perfect Summer & Smoothie Days 😀 And the best about all of them is that you can easily pimp them adding some greens, vegan protein powders or other superfood powders for x-tra boost 😀


Berry Smoothies – (LINK)


Cocomanana Smoothie 

 

  • 1 mango, chopped
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • Some coconut flakes
  • Some water (if you want it a little more liquid) and goji berries (Optional)

Mix the ingredients in a food processor and blend! Serve 😀


Fruity Sweetheart Smoothie

1/2 frozen banana
1 orange, pealed
2-4 strawberries
1/4-1/2 cup dairy free milk of choice (for example : Provamel Strawberry Soy milk)
1 tbs vegan protein powder (Optional)

Mango Smoothie w/ Blueberry Superfood Topping (recipe by @naturallysassy)

Smoothie:

  • 1 mango, chopped
  • 1 frozen banana
  • Juice of 1 orange

Topping:

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1-2  tbs chia seeds
  • 1 tbs goji berries, soaked
  • 1/2 cup dairy free milk, yogurt, coconut water, water or orange juice (Optional)

Start mixing the 3 ingredients for the smoothie and blend. Fill in a glass or jar – it makes the 1st layer. Next do the same with the topping ingredients (mix and blend) and pour the mixture on top of the mango smoothie – makes the 2nd layer

MangOtte Smoothie (Mango Carrot)

  • 1 mango, chopped
  • 1-2 carrots, grated or finely chopped
  • 1/2-1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup carrot and/or mango juice (you can also use orange)

Mix the ingredients in a food processor and blend! Serve 😀


Morning Sunshine Smoothie (Mango Peach)

  • 1 mango, chopped
  • 2 peaches, pitted
  • 1/2-1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup orange juice or (coconut) water (Optional)

Mix the ingredients in a food processor and blend! Serve 😀


Orange Carrot Smoothie (Carrot Cucumber Nana)

 

  • 1-2 carrots, grated or finely chopped
  • 1 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1/2-1 frozen banana
  • 1 orange, peeled
  • Some (coconut) water (Optional)

Mix the ingredients in a food processor and blend! Serve 😀


Pineapple-Banana-Blueberry Smoothie (recipe by @naturallysassy)

 

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/3 cup pineapple
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 2 tbs cashews
  • 1/4 cup dairy free milk of choice or coconut water

Mix the ingredients in a food processor and blend! Serve 😀

Pink Refresher Smoothie (Watermelon Cucumber)

 

  • 2-3 (or more) cups chopped watermelon
  • 1 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup orange juice or (coconut) water (Optional)

Mix the ingredients in a food processor and blend! Serve 😀


Pinky, The Smoothie

 

  • 2-3 cups watermelon
  • 1 frozen banana
  • Juice of 1/2 orange
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 handful goji berries (Optional)

Mix all ingredients in a blender and blend. Serve and Enjoy 😀


Pretty In Pink Smoothie (Watermelon Mango Kiwi)

 

  • 2-3 (or more) cups chopped watermelon
  • 1/2-1 mango, chopped
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1/2-1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup coconut water

Mix the ingredients in a food processor and blend! Serve 😀


Red Starter Smoothie

You need :
1 frozen banana
2 blood oranges, pealed
3-4 strawberries
1 handful goji berries
1 tsp vegan protein powder (Optional)
Superfood blends and greens (Optional)


Strawberry & Mango Lassi
(recipe from The Detox Kitchen bible)

  • 1 mango, chopped
  • 1 cup ripe strawberries
  • 2 tbs dairy free yogurt (plain soy or, like me, coconut yogurt)
  • Juice of 1/2 sweet lime
  • 1/4l dairy free milk of choice
  • 2 ice cubes

Mix the ingredients in a food processor and blend! Serve over ice (you can also put into the fridge to chill for a while before serving).

Let the sun shine w/ AnnaBelle´s Sunshine Smoothie

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 handful pineapple, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped cucumber
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Some (coconut) water
  • Goji berries (Optional)

Sweet Grapefruit Smoothie

 

  • 1/2-1 grapefruit, peeled
  • 1/2-1 orange, peeled
  • 1/2-1 frozen banana
  • Sprinkle sweet lime (Optional)
  • 1 tbs nut butter
  • (Coconut) water, dairy free milk/yogurt of choice (Optional)

Mix the ingredients in a food processor and blend! Serve 😀

  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup strawberries

Tahini-Goji-Berry Smoothie (recipe from @honestlyhealthyfood)

  • 50g frozen berries (strawberries or raspberries)
  • 1/4l dairy free milk of choice
  • 1 tbs tahini
  • 2 tbs goji berries
